FEEDBACK INVITED ON LITTEN ROAD MINOR IMPROVEMENT PROPOSAL

Kia Ora,

We are seeking feedback on a proposal to upgrade the existing pedestrian crossing to a raised zebra crossing on 9 Litten Road, Cockle Bay.

There is a high pedestrian demand originating from two schools in the area, Howick College and Cockle Bay School as well as the nearby local shops, Paparoa Park and a Rugby Club. The proposed changes will encourage slower speeds and improve pedestrian safety, especially for children using Litten Road.

Please find attached a letter and drawing showing the proposed changes. These letters have also been sent to residents and businesses directly affected by the proposed changes.

Feedback closes on Tuesday, 19 December 2023. We encourage as much feedback as possible on what we’re doing and how we’re doing it. The projects we deliver to all Aucklanders will only be improved as a result of your contribution.

Please go to our website to complete the online survey. You can also provide feedback by emailing ATEngagement@govt.co.nz   or calling (09) 355 3553.

Ngā mihi,
